I thought I'd try ordering take out from the same Chinese place, and see if I could get free almond or fortune cookies in place of the change I didn't get!

It's a small amount, but it's just the principle of the thing. You'd think they want to keep their customers happy. I tried again, and the guy taking the order says he doesn't have the authority and I have to talk to the manager.

He said to call after 4pm, so I said I'd call back. He hung up on me.

I did call later asking for the manager, and when I asked (to be sure) are you the manager, he didn't reply. He just started yelling "What authority? What order? It's so small, no change, no discount, no nothing. He then said "Don't order from us anymore!" and hung up on me!

I'm 53, and no one has ever turned away my business! They gladly take my money! But not these people!

He hung up before I could say "**** you."

Food is delicious, but that's just so unprofessional. A couple of free fortune or almond cookies would appease me. And I was planning to give them more business, but they don't want it. They charge just $1 for the cookies anyway, so what's the big deal?

I also like Thai food, so I'm trying to find a place that delivers nearby also.

Need to find another Chinese place now too.

I know it's not good for you, but this place I now won't order from (their request, as stated above) also had the option of you getting items steamed with no sauce, or sauce on the side.

I think it's the sauce that has the sugar, salt, oil, etc. Eating it once in awhile won't hurt you.

I haven't had it in years, so it was a treat for me.

Strangely enough, I used to HATE the stuff as a kid! NOW, I love Chinese food.
