But I must say, I think it is very difficult to fight and overcome this barrier. I sure feel for you on this one. I sat in during interviews for two different jobs lately at my own place of employment and witnessed RAMPANT age discrimination during both of the hiring processes.

There are a lot of ways that people talk about older workers that are essentially "code words." They talk about "lower energy" ....not "keeping up" or being "not tech savvy."

Age discrimination is really hard to fight, and like all forms of discrimination (also known as lazy thinking or stupidity) it hurts us all and drains and wastes good minds and resources.
