I suspect that if they intend to "let you go" they are already documenting each and every one of your mis-steps to pad your file so that it looks like they are doing this for "cause" of some kind.

She is definitely right. They are padding away. Start your own documentation so if it gets too far you have your dude too. Start padding even if you have to record it and then write it down at home.
