I hesitate to say it's just a bad fit if she truly seems to look at you like some kind of intellectual experiment. I would hate to see a therapist like that.
It is true that different personalities in their therapists may help clients - I find that to be true in my case - but my therapists are quite sensitive to the fact that I'm not an extrovert and they appear to adjust their approach to accommodate for that. Yours doesn't seem to be sensitive or doing that.
I agree: start test-driving others. If you think there's anything there with this woman, you can see her while looking for her successor.
