What a good question! I think i annoyed my mother before i was even born. Before i was even a gleam in my father's eye as the saying goes. My high school boyfriend later characterized me as nice, very ingratiating, but not funny. I think its ts job to undo our self image as being annoying. Maybe we swing too far to the other side, and hopefully we eventually land in the middle.
