Your psychiatrist recommended you take something you are not allowed to take?

Did you sign release forms so your psychologist and psychiatrist could talk to each other? If not, they cannot. Either way, why would they plan to do something without your consent? It sounds like your psychologist has your best interests in mind. Hopefully your psychiatrist can find you a medication that you are allowed to take, if that is indeed what you are looking for.
