She's not playing you, but she is legitimately dangerous. She lacks the awareness to understand how damaging she is being to you and others. She's a walking trainwreck and will wreck you as well. For your own good, disengage from this woman. She will run you over and not even know she did it. Her issues are too complicated for an average person to deal with, she needs a therapist and a sense of mature responsibility.

That whole "the kids are wondering where you are" is a classic manipulative bait move. Hope you see this in a skeptical light and don't allow your feelings to influence your responses, OP.
