Yes, aging does that.

I thank God "all the time" and at least daily for His love and salvation. I actually don't fear death because of my belief in God, trusting in Him... but I also have that NDE type of assurances... having nearly died many times... one particular time... an OBE that wasn't "just dissociation" ... the overwhelming energy of love, engulfing me, I cannot describe it! I know this is what is awaiting me when this body gives out.

Also... think of it this way, as you say you believe in God...

the mind does not die. The essence of who we are does not die...it is only the physical body that stops living...so there is no "death" experience for us, the one dying... it's just the next second we are consciously in the presence of God...

Science has proven that we cannot destroy energy...it just changes form.
Make your faith sure to remove the fear.
