Inky, I was in the very north edge of cook county but knew hardy anyone 12yrs ago. I'm not sure if that's anywhere near you. There was a mental health clinic in Northfield called the irean josslyne(sp) clinic with social workers who might be able to refer you. I also knew a retired I think U.of Chicago ( if I can manage to remember his name) proffessor who might still be in Skokie who has a son with bi-polar D, who might be able to help connect you although I'm not sure he'd do anything for me. Jewish Services is a gov. funded charity in that area that might help. That's all I can think of at the moment.-I'll get back to you if I can find some specifics.-tc-Downsolong
