Music has got me out of a few hair raising moments. It's a distraction, most days I listen to music, but sometimes I just don't want to as I have no interest. If you had a good time in your life and a song reminds you of that happy time, it may be a good idea to stick it on even if you don't feel like it. It's good to distract yourself when you are feeling suicidal, after all the thoughts do pass and music for me helps. It works most times but not all. Best wishes.
