Right now I've got "the sound of silence" by Simon & Garfunkel, and there isn't even any reason for it. Didn't recently hear it, or see it referenced in media anywhere, no one has mentioned it to me recently ... It's like I've got an internal database that cross-references feelings to songs, but the feelings data is mostly invisible to me.

I try to just look at it as a clumsy internal DJ trying its best to entertain me, and when the track skips and gets stuck, I sometimes have to step in and do something to get it off the player. Sometimes the only way is to put on a new song.
