My birthday is coming up! only 8 months to go. : )
If anyone wants to buy me a here is the one that I want:

Seriously, how come a 200 page book cast $100?(!) And that's just the paperback version. I have a threshold for when it comes to when I get a hardcover or paperback. Anything over 300 pages and I get the hardcover. I'm through with bent spines when I open my book.
I bought Plato's republic, the most literal translation I could find and while writing in the margins the spine gave in. Oh was I pissed. I spent a month critically studying that book. I highlighted, used different color pens, I had stickered book marks and the works. Now I have a beautiful copy but I'm probably not going to read it for sometime, since I have so much to read already.
Still, some books are worth reading again and again. Faust was one of those books. For those that want to get an indepth scene by scene copy there is one called "the restless spirit". It's not bad at all.
Newtus, If you ever have the time and money, I recommend getting this:
The Great Ideas of Philosophy, 2nd Edition | The Great Courses
They go on sale all the time. In time, if you check it every once in awhile, It will go on sale for probably $70.
It is my favorite course hands down. I have a lot of them and it beats them all. You're library can get it for you too. Just ask about the library exchange program and download it as an mp3 on your pc or apple device. How many gigs is your apple phone? I have a 64 gig SD card in mine, plus 8 gigs on the phone.
