At the bar perplexed by how many pages of paragraphs and quotes I have copied. I have to find a balance between quotes, summaries, and paraphrasing it into smaller pieces and parts. Everything I'm writing is so necessary though. I don'people to be exhausted like I am with Aristotle by the lengthy reading that is accumulating. I really need to rethink the philosophy of how to translate Aristotle's ethics. My professors always shifted away from Aristotle. Now that I'm reading him I hald understand why. The more you summarize the dumber he sounds, or really, the professor sounds.
three parts, not more than 40 pages. That's the lengthiest I can do. I should be able to do it but I sigh at the thought of summarizing any of it.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to do this easier, that is, condensing another person's book/ideas which each paragraph sets up the next ad infinitum? after the chapter I'm going to rethink everything.
