I am also struggling with too many difficult things on my mind. I try to remember not to hang around in the shower and get up and watch tv if I can't sleep. Sometimes writing has helped but playing chess on my iPad or painting will distract my mind. Also talking about the problems can help. My husband is part of the problem sometimes but he is also one of the few people I can talk to. I do go to a counselor but the conversation might be good and the rest of the day horrible. Triggers everywhere.
