I think they did ask about my longer history but no symptoms associated with it. Like, they asked what happened x years ago and stuff, but not that it caused any types of depression.
I know my depression isn't MDD, but certainly pervasive depressive disorder.
And no, I haven't because I'm afraid that my family will judge me for being depressed. I can take them picking at my anxiety, which plays a part in why I am depressed, but I wouldn't be able to tell them that I'm depressed because they are considered the "public" and will say I look happy and I'm not depressed. That's like telling someone with a broken leg that it doesn't look broken so they should walk. No, that's not how it works people. I want to, but I'm scared of being judged for it.
