Yes, if you're changing pdocs, that would probably be the best solution. You can even tell the pdoc that although you are having certain symptoms, that you are uneasy about receiving a diagnosis of depression.

Sometimes the antidepressants that help my depression the most give me insomnia and worsened anxiety. That is one of the things I dislike about psych meds. I don't like taking an antidepressant and then needing another med for sleep and a third one for anxiety.

I was doing well with Cymbalta + Remeron until about mid-August when the Remeron suddenly seemed to stop fixing my sleep.

Do you live in an area that's large enough to have meditation groups? Just wondering. Meditation can be done at home, of course. I've just never been disciplined enough to do it at home.

I've meditated regularly in the past and found it pleasant and calming. I don't know if you would like it.

That's great news that you're going to see a new pdoc, though.
