WOW (((hug))) I guess you have to ask your doctor... the one involved? If no such report was on your record prior to 5 years ago, then whatever was reported has been within 5 years. Since you were told about that, I would suggest making a request in writing for the full information as to when and who, if you can. You might be able to contact the bureau department of the FBI for the information if the place that ran the report and denied you employment or for whatever the background check was made will not give it to you. They should, it's YOUR information.

You have a right to the information since it has been used against you...it could be that someone else's background information is showing on your history. You have a right to counter the info, or have it removed if it is not yours.
