They need to let people decide for themselves what groups they relate to and identify themselves with, and not label people. "Emo" often seems derogatory, somehow. I'm not sure that I understand it entirely, but it's almost like those who choose that image are mocking people who really do have emotional disorders, at least sometimes. I'm sure that some who call themselves emo have real problems - almost everyone does, and there is always a reason why people do everything they do. But I don't think you are emo if you don't choose to be.

Milly, you sound so very angry. I can gather that you are venting your feelings toward someone IRL who has hurt you, but remember that we are on your side here. It's hard to read such an angry post, for those who have a hard time with anger and might not be sure at first that it isn't directed at them. They might not be able to read enough to find out what you are mad about.

Don't let someone else define you, or push you into doing things out of anger. Whatever they say reflects on them, not on you. You are you, and you are worth saving. I'd like to hear more about you, from your perspective, not what someone else says (that means nothing, especially in the form of labels that don't even fit).
