1. police records are considered public, however medical records is not and are confidential. I didn't know having a mental illness is against the law. I thought those who suffer from mental illness was taken to a hospital, not be put in jail and have charges pending against them for being who they are.

2.of course they didn't release any information regarding to this woman because the hospital doesn't want to get sued for breaking the hipaa law. I bet your *** that if they found out the name, they wouldn't hesitate at all to release it to the public.
