Olanzapine and fluoxetine are sold in a combination tablet called Symbyax. I think that's a pretty good sign that they're compatible. See: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/symbyax.htm

The advantage of doing your own "blending" is that you're not stuck with the specific proportions and dosing that are in the Symbyax brand.
