Here it is Sat. nite and I haven't done the paperwork to send to the attorney to let her know the latest... and I went out to an activity and used up what energy I had!

Actually, it wasn't so bad... I dragged out and went just because I am in a "high" position and I know the previous ppl who held this volunteer job never showed up at anything the field units did... so just by going I am appreciated... and they feel important... but at one of the events they had JOTA it's Jamboree on the Air, ham radio operators talk around the country and world... well I am one.. but haven't been on since Hurricane Andrew blew me away... 12 years... and then being disabled and not having anyone help... anyway...

the guy who was "running" that area... with the amateur radio had a real special station on the radio, but the other station couldn't understand or hear him. I picked up the microphone and gave the guy a shout and he came right back to me! Something about a female voice, they pick up easy! It turned out to be a guy in London at Gilwell Park (home of Lord Robert Baden Powell) what a hoot! I was the first female contact from there for this guy so we were both excited about the chat.

That gave me strength to drive on to the other event and "let those units see me" lol they also appreciated my efforts.

But I feel like ... well you know.... because I can't maintain that, and now am back to really bad physically because of the activity! I have guilt because instead of doing what needed to be done (for myself in fighting the system) I wasted my time and energy on volunteer stuff... and now am paying a price.
