It's almost Halloween so I want to know if you guys believe in ghosts and if you've ever experienced one?

What brought me to think of this is we just buried my dads cat. And my dad does not believe in ghosts and definitely not animal ghosts. Well he swore he heard the floor creaking and when he came out of his room, he saw her outline cross the hallway and she disappeared. There's no other animals in the house. So who knows, maybe he was sleep walking but he swears it happened twice. Yikes.
