My grandmother was very, very ill with double pneumonia. She pretty much had a near death experience when she was very sick. She was talking to people that weren't there, saying that she had seen my deceased grandfather and her deceased cousin. I stayed with her to take care of her and we used baby monitors to make sure she was okay during the night when we slept on the other side of the house. One night, while I lay in the bed, I could hear my grandmother breathing heavily from being sick. Out of nowhere, I heard a voice that sounded eerily like my grandfather say "don't touch her" over my grandmothers deep breaths. She then mumbled something and I ran in the room. I thought someone was in the room with her. When I asked her about it she said it was my Pop. Wow. Needless to say, I unplugged the monitor at night after that. I am aware that baby monitors pick up other channels, but usually you hear static first. I am a believer.
