Yes and no. I remove the blisters from the burns, first with my fingers (unwashed) and then with (non-sterile) tweezers and a day or so later I again remove what's left of the blisters (a little always remains) with a needle and said tweezers. So I do carelessly (through nonsterile tweezers etc) and deliberately worsen the wounds.
But I do cover and bandage them etc, although that's mostly because otherwise they'd stick to my clothes. When I didn't have gauze that didn't stick to the wounds, I used a salve between the wound and the gauze so it would stick less - because the wounds kept reopening when I removed the gauze.
