Hi folks,

As Psych Central continues to grow, a lot of people have asked for more frequent updates in psychology news. We started collecting email addresses a few months ago on the home page to send folks a Psych Central newsletter (as well as any member here who has selected to receive it by going to their profile and checking the newsletter box). We're now ready to start publishing!!

What we need, however, are energetic writers and editors to help make this community newsletter a success. I see it not only giving out news and information on psychology topics, but it will also serve as a monthly update on community happenings, events and such.

In addition to the monthly newsletter, I am also recruiting for additional bloggers to contribute to the World of Psychology blog. This blog is oriented toward news articles of interest to psychology students, researchers, professors and anyone who has an interest in behavior, medications, psychology, personality and the like.

If either or both of these kinds of activities appeal to you, please PM or email me (talkback @ psychcentral.com) with your specific interests and abilities. You do not need any formal background in any specific area to help out! Mostly I need people who have energy and the ability to commit to this project for at least a few months at a time. Students are especially encouraged to apply!
