I thought about this thread while I waited, waited, and waited in the pharm line today. They don't know who I am any more. Everybody is new, every single person! I received an email the other day apologizing for delays in the pharmaceutical sector of the drug store...not clue why. Today I go in to pick up my usual and there's one elderly person doing the check outs and two brand new still in high school( ok they just look like that to me) kids in lab coats putting pills into bottles. The check out clerk was still learning the computerized registers. The pharmacists were hiding in the back so the clerk was having to do both cars and people inside. What? Everyone quit? I knew it was busy and they were overworked...but! The pharmacy is open from 8-8 and it was allways the same people no matter what time I went in weekday or weekend...so I think they walked out.
