I like the way you worded this post as to how your journey is progressing.

While on the path of snarly trees, you were able to carve a memory for all time into those trees. Taking from each tree a peice of information you could create your basis of learning and growing. Now, where there are beautiful and fragrant flowers, carving is not an option, but, picking one of each and planting them into your heart and soul, they will grow and forever give you the sweetest memories to hold onto for the rest of your life. Your flowers will cover up the snarly distant memories and replace them with the positive and most cherished of times.
