I was not asked to because I had so much medical records from different sources (pdocs, therapists, and three mental health hospitals). One clinic I went to had a emergency hotline. They would track all the calls you made and let your doc know, this also helped me. I have a cousin going through the hearing process and I tell her to relax and answer the questions. Don't let the judge make you nervous and you panic.

Yikes, I didn't know I would have to go to court. I have a thick file too, 6 hospitalizations in the last 14 months at 3 different hospitals plus 3 PHPs, a pdoc and 3 therapists. I also have a lawyer through my LTD provider. I just need SSDI long enough so that I can get stable. It sucks that people abuse the system and those of us who are really sick have to jump through hoops to get the benefits we've already paid into.
