Aw thanks for all your comments. Day 2 doesn't sting as much. Although its hard to get a good nights sleep. Everything gets so clear at night and the clarity is terrifying.

The plan right now.... I am going to try and get my old job back. I left there on good terms but they may have already filled my role. If that's the case, I'm in big trouble! It took all summer, 5 interviews to get new job so I know job hunting is a long process, not something that comes easily.

I'm still in shock. I cant believe I was duped by this new company. 40days is not long enough to get my seat warm. They didn't even give me a chance. But they are a start-up and you take a big chance going from a big company to a startup. I thought I could make a valuable contribution. But I guess they didn't have the time (or money) to support me. They realized they made a mistake, they let me go. Now I have to pay for their mistake.

Be warned. If you're job interviewing, ask as many questions of them as they do of you.
