It's a pretty significant date for me since my life has changed so much since I started working with her. I doubt she will realize that next week marks one year but I kind of want to bring it up at the beginning of the session and talk about everything that has happened since I started working with her
Has anyone done anything special on an anniversary date or spent the session talking about everything that has happened in the last year?

Yes. Every year on the day/week of me starting therapy, we have a small party. My Pdoc attends, as does a few local police officers (who once saved my life), a few group therapy friends, and my therapist's wife (who also helped save my life by performing CPR on me after I collapsed).
The tradition is that we have a cake, some light music, and some friendly social chatter, before having a few shots in celebration. Last year, we ended the night by playing some Just Dance (very hard when you're buzzed!).
Of course, this is all lies.
I am actually embarrassed with how many years I've been in therapy. I'd prefer not to think about it or address it.
