I always have my mom and my brother and his family over on Christmas. My brother lives out of state, and my house is kind of in the middle of where they stay and my mom lives. Which is totally ok except the stress of cleaning gets to me. Then there's the food, but fortunately my mom helps a lot with purchasing and preparing food.

I hate how material the holiday is. I spend most of the day stressed out by people giving me gifts when I have nothing to give in return. I always say I'm going to give homemade stuff, but that also takes time and money. So, it never happens.
