Personally, I used to drink like 3-5 cups of caffeinated tea a day without any issues, I could even drink a cup of coffee before bed & sleep like a baby when I was younger. Gradually I stopped drinking caffeine after around 5pm because it was affecting my sleep. Then suddenly I started getting wired from it... I think it probably has to do with my anxiety disorder.

Yes, I have gotten more sensitive to it too. I used to drink 2 or 3 strong cups of coffee before going to work (at night, overnight hours) and still be exhausted and need to go back to sleep. Now though that much caffeine would have me very wired and anxious.
