Yeah, I have wondered in the past whether I might have some tendency to SAD but overall I am usually in a pretty good mood in the winter so it doesn't really fit. I did notice a tendency for my mood to be worse when it was cloudy though when my anxiety was an issue... I do think those lights are quite expensive though, so it's probably not worth it unless you obviously suffer from SAD.
I think it some respects, what gets me down more than anything weather-wise is when it isn't what it should be.
i.e cool, cloudy summers or mild winters without snow...
I do tend to think things should be a certain way & when they aren't it pisses me off. Interestingly, my CPN did say I might have mild AS... so that could explain that sort of thinking. I consistently get scores that indicate I have AS on the quizzes, like more than border line...
I think it's hard to judge though as there is some overlap between AS & sz symptoms, so some of it during that time might have be to do with my psychosis... although there are certain features I've had as long as I can remember.
Who knows really...
