Hubby also got one done. Now he's got two. His first tat was done before we met.

My brother-in-law chose this as a way of life for himself. He is literally covered in tattoos. Full sleeves on both arms and legs and half his neck, into his head is covered too. He is the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met. His young girlfriend is also pretty much covered. It was she, who has only just recently started tattooing professionally, that did mine and hubby's tattoos. I had full confidence that she would do a sterling job. (She is only 21). They are both meticulous and professional piercests too. But, ummm - I don't want any holes!

The tat is healing nicely. Not even itchy. It looks a little dry and scabby but I have a balm to put on which I do several times a day, and I'm sure before long, it will be totally settled in.

Now for my Mom to see this! She just might not be able to wrap her head around it. She doesn't have anything against tattoos but on her daughter is another story.
