I believe from what I read on amphetamine addiction on various MH sites. Searched the topic in PC forums but didn't find anything.
At any rate read AA symptoms include irritability mood swings, sudden rage. That describes my mom perfectly. Through the years from 4 to 14 I suffered from her amphetamine abuse addiction. This fact is a psychologist thinks is a major reason my PTSD . My mother was prescribed diet pills for weidhtloss. These pills were later I found out were amphetamines. BTW In the 60s Uppers were Rxd for depression. Doctors don't necessarily know best.
