Hello. I am currently on 10 mg of Lexapro. Going higher makes me have these shaking episodes. Like not a panic attack, but my entire body is shaking for an hour or so. I feel terrible after it. 5 mg was too little so. But I have three diagnoses: social anxiety disorder (generalized), GAD, and OCD. The only that Lexapro has helped with was the generalized part of social anxiety. It may have even caused my panic attacks to get worse, I am not sure. My OCD may have also been exacerbated by it. I am in a contamination state and I need to wash my hands often if I touch too many things. I feel dirty. Like, if I touch nothing, I'm okay, but if I touch like 5 different smooth surfaces, I feel the need to wash my hands. But anyways, I have read that Paxil is good for OCD, and is used to treat social anxiety and GAD. But when I brought it up with my pdoc, she said no to it. So what is really bad about Paxil? This would really help. Thanks for the response [emoji3].
