I don't have any crazy stories, but I racked up over $17,000 in credit card debt. It'll take me probably 10 years to pay it off. I also have $12,000 in student loan debt, half of which I probably didn't NEED to take out. It's further complicated by my anxiety about being on the phone with people to set up payment options. I ignore them when I shouldn't.

I have a lot of regret about all of it because I can't afford to take my son anywhere fun most of the time. I always have to tell him no. I don't think I will ever own another credit card, and I if I go back to school to finish my bachelor's, I'm going to pay as I go.
