I had a friend ages ago who used amephatimenes and had a young child, she was keeping it secret from her partner, but told me as she went to her friend's house to get some more whilst I was with her.
She had an eating disorder and also slight OCD where she felt the need to keep the house completely clean at all times, she had been adopted as a child and had this belief that she will be a bad mother, and she felt she had to be a wonder women with her child, but the child seemed to be quiet screwed up even though he knew he was loved, I felt sorry for her and she ended up having a breakdown, but I expect she bounced back and probably does things a lot differently now, after all this was years ago and she was only in her mid twenties when I met her.
I guess back in the 60's diet pills were made from amephatimenes, so it's not entirely your mother's fault as you said, funny because my friend's child was also showing signs of ADHD - is that the same for ADD?

That's okay hon, I do it too. ADHD/ADD are attention deficit disorders. The "H" in ADHD stands for hyper. It takes the same meds to treat each, pharmaceutical amephatimines. Imagine that.
