Does anyone have any tips to get through med withdrawl and staying stable for the long term?

Anything you wish you had done or could do differently?

Any meds that help with withdrawl?
Drink lots of water. Try Benadryl for sleep; it's an over the counter antihistamine that is pretty safe. If you can take it, use Tylenol for any aches and pains you may get. You see, you might feel as though you have the flu for a week or so... and you should treat yourself gently while your body adjusts.

NOTE... I'm not a doctor, but this is what I do when I come off a medication or adjust a dose, and my pdoc approves.
