Disclosing to your Therapist was a huge step - and a smart one too. Have no regrets.
I feel alone too. The only people outside of my psychiatric support services are my support group associates - and most aren't the type of people I particularly wish to be friends with. I have an adult son I see once a month and a dad who does his best to support me. BUT NO FRIENDS. I know how hard it is.
Ocassionally some event will pop up during my depression to briefly give my joy but for the most time I'm in the blues.
I get a great deal of comfort on this site. I try however to stay away from social media.
