I always thought myself to be a kinesthetic, as I tend to learn things on my own. According to my mother, I've been that way since I was a baby.
It can be a bit difficult to understand verbal instructions, a problem I'm honestly rather self-conscious about, but once I start doing whatever it is on my own, I tend to pick up pretty quickly. I'm not emotional, I despise being touched, and I simply am not any good at physical things that involve any sort of coordination.
Although the description of a visual-learner seems to fit me better than that of a kinesthetic-learner, I've never found information easier to absorb when adorned with pictures or graphs. I think of things in terms of stories (when I look at an inkblot, I don't see one image. I see characters, setting, a beginning, middle, and end) which I suppose would be a sort of visualization, wouldn't you say?
I am certain I am not an auditory-learner. I've been told I pick up foreign languages easily, but again, that is because I teach myself.
