She's been off birth control for at least five months now, if not more so, and yeah. I've been trying to get her to see someone but it's getting so bad. She doesn't recognize that there is a problem and I'm not sure how to go about this. I'm friends with her BF too and I'm wondering if he could help.

I don't know her family but her family would not help. They do not believe mental illness is real which I think adds to her apprehension about going to see someone.

Thank you for the help and kind words, too. I'm not looking to diagnose her, of course, just wanting to figure out how to try and help since I've exhausted some of the more obvious options.
