I agree with your choice also.....I know for me, my doggies are the most important thing when making my choices.
This heat is beyond anything I have experienced in the past (& that is a long time at my age). I know Kentucky has been so hot & dry (in the middle of a draught). The doggie I had with me wouldn't stay home alone & if I tried, he would destroy anything he could get to. Even when I put him in his crate when I walked down into my woods, he got even with me by pooping all over his crate & down into my AC floor vent (didn't realize his crate was that close to it). He got so upset that even when I took him out & we drove over to look at a barn that the person had built, he dumped all over the back seat of the car.....(the goopy poop no less). After that, I had to take him with me everywhere I went. Luckily, Lowe's & other stores were very dog friendly there, only couldn't take him into the Wal-marts that were the superstores with the food. Unfortunately, it was hard to go to church....couldn't leave him in the car.....way to hot....& didn't think he would be very appreciated in church (even if he doesn't bark at all). The only time I could go to church was on cloudy days & it seemed that Sundays were never cloudy. I am sure that God understood my thinking.
It is important to think about our babies & make decisions based on that,
Debbie
