I don't trust yelp or online review sites. I've known too many trolls that if they don't like a place will make fake profiles and just bomb a place online OR they enlist ever person they know to "take the place down". I've also seen the other side where it was used to pump up a place. So I just can't take online reviews seriously.

I go for trial and error/word of mouth. I've been known to stop a complete stranger and ask where she got her hair cut. Sometimes I'll just get a what the hell attitude and go in someplace I'm driving past. I mean it's hair even if they butcher it it grows out.
