Scizophrenia for example. I know someone who is schizophrenic and hears voices, hallucinates, and all that stuff and they are having trouble finding a job and may be homeless soon. He is not violent and is not prone to outbursts or anything but lacks the ability to connect and communicate on a basic level. Kinda fear for their safety and putting them in a mental hospital is not an option. Advice?
Also, have a sibling who mentioned one day while drunk at a party that he has pedophilic/ephebophillic thoughts. I always wondered why he was never able to hold a job, and when I heard that it kinda made sense. He's always been a recluse, staying out of trouble. But now he might be evicted soon and I just kinda feel like it's not a good thing for many reasons that they become homeless and are out wandering around. For their safety and the safety of others.
So I've been looking online to find a jobs that they could do and haven't had much luck at all, especially regarding my kid bro. The only reason I'm helping him is he has sacrificed a social life and career to stay out of trouble, which is admirable IMO. He controls his actions and probably shouldn't suffer for it. But it's very easy to out pedophiles in the workplace, especially any job where he would potentially be in the position. Not to mention the fact that his presence would probably cause tensions between him and most any co-workers and employers.
So I'm coming here in hopes that someone might have some advice?
