Rather then thinking of it as needing to do more why not think of it as you are ready to stop this habit. There are better ways to deal with emotions then cutting. We just have a tendency to forget them. Try to think of different ways that you can cope with your emotions, if you try different coping tools you will find that you need to cut less. Eventually the goal is to not cut at all. I hope things get better for you.
