I revived that bad habit. I'm back to doing a bag and a half a day. Driving and work is a trigger. I'll suck seeds till I have a tongue ulcer, and then some. It's a nasty habit because of all the slobbery waste that gets everywhere, but it's a little better than cig butts and ashes.

Once I sit myself in my truck, the craving kicks in so much that it's a mild mental obsession. It's too early to seek help because I'm enjoying the flavor, but it does get old sometimes, plus the mess on the vehicle's floor board and interior from wind blow back. There are seed husks from the last binge a couple years ago still under the seats that I couldn't get to.

Withdrawls is the worse. It's a psychological addiction, so it takes sometime to ween from the habit, but at least it's doable without intervention.

Be warned, sunflower seeds can be addictive and hazardous to your health with from distracted driving.
Thanks for this!
