Ok I know your friend was trying to help, but that was not his place to do that! Were you able to express that to him?

I can understand why you are not feeling safe. Even if there is no possibility of your stepfather coming after you, you can still feel unsafe just knowing he's been confronted about it. This probably brings up fear from before, when the molestation was occurring, right?

Does your stepfather know where to find you?

If so, do you live with anyone else that you can warn about your fears?

You are grown-up now and you are stronger. You have the ability to keep yourself safe. Keep telling yourself this. You will survive.
