I would have felt so re-victimized emotionally. You, against your will, were put back into a situation that you didn't ask for or need right now...even tho they were goon intentions.

T was mandated to report our abuse. I couldn't believe it! Those wounds were opened up in a way that I wasn't ready to deal with and the fear of repercussion was almost more than I could deal with. What got me thru that very difficult time was to write down and keep repeating that I have options now that I didn't then. I'm big, I can call the police, the ppl in my life now won't let anybody hurt me, etc. My fears were such that I had to do that. Things finally calmed down for me. I hope the same for you.

Remember your safety plans and exercise them! You do have options now that you didn't then. I'm sending you thoughts full of peace and safety.
