((((((gostryter)))))) i'm so sorry that you're going through a rough time. that pm the person sent you is not exactly good advice, really. depression is NOT self-pity - it's an illness. that advice is pretty much saying "denial" to your depression, to your illness. denial has heavy consequences. i know because it happened to me, and it led to huge problems. problems will not appear immediately, but later on as time goes on and will pile on itself if you ignore your illness. don't ever ignore it. instead, you can "pretend," but, be careful because there's a fine line between "pretending" and denial. don't be hard on yourself. i hope i'm making sense in what i'm trying to say. you're a good person, and no you're not wallowing in self-pity when you have depression.
